The structure of my approach to this Inktober piece is based on some ideas I experimented with in the way I approached Inktober in the previous year.

Instead of following or coming up with a list of prompts, I took to Twitter and used their polling function to let my audience decide what I drew each day. In 2017, this took the form of a “choose your own adventure” comic. I wanted to try something a little different in the following year, so instead of doing a new page or drawing each day, I spent the month on a single illustration, adding pieces to it based on the results of the Twitter polls I posted. This is this result.
